Karla Chavez was born in the capital city of  Lima, Peru.  She studied communication science in the university where she obtained a Masters Degree in Marketing. She worked in a pharmaceutical company for seven years in marketing. Karla was the manager of the Customer Relationship Management area for national and international clients and managed a large group of employees.

After work, she maintained her passion for the arts and participated as a model for different TV shows, voice overs,  press releases and  trade shows.
Karla also was an event presenter and participated in beauty pageants as Miss Peru Playa, Miss Peru and  Miss Peru Latina.

After she won Miss Peru Latina, she traveled to the United States to represent her country in Miss Latin America where she was a semifinalist. With the possibility to move to the USA and work as a model and presenter, she accepted the challenge to live far away from her family and friends.

At the present time, Karla has established permanent residence in Miami Florida and with her bilingual language skills has done commercials  and photoshoots for very important brands such as Master Card, US Government, Coors Light, Dish Network, Orbitel, and Coca Cola to mention a few.
Karla also was a presenter for Pet Care Fare, The Peruvian Festival, Coca Cola, Purina, Wallmart, Loreal, Mc Donalds and  BMW nationwide.
